Here's a possible fix: I subscribed to about 600 workshop items and I had the same issue. So, I changed my download region and restarted Steam and noticed that Steam was downloading something in the background, thats when I realized that it was my workshop content. I started up my game again and now everything is working fine. [V] Steam Workshop mods subscribed, not installing. Edit: anyone else having this problem, deleting the files in the cache folder and relaunching helped. I recently purchased Complete Edition through steam, trying to install my mods through it. ~150 subscribed, now I got to mods, "get mods" it opens the browser but there is nothing I can do I currently have poor internet for downloading games or anything large (i.e. around 150 KB/s maximum download rate). When I subscribed to a very large Skyrim mod via the Workshop, the mod never got downloaded.After an hour of playing Skyrim without it, waiting for Skyrim to sync and the works, it never started downloading. 1) backing up/copying my MODS folder 2) do Not have Steam start with logon to my computer (i.e. change the option in Steam) 3) if a Mod is lost and Steam shows you're still subscribed, unsubscribe from it, get completely out of Steam, then go back into Steam and subscribe again. The only way to download and install mods for the standalone version is to get them from the downloads section of the Klei forums. Here's a handy how-to for installing mods from the Klei forums. If the mod is only available on Steam and not on the Klei forums, you may have to contact the mod creator and ask if he or she can put it on our forums. Basically, even with an internet connection, and access to the steam workshop, mods will not download even if they are subscribed to. 16 Oct 2019 If not, you can force a re-download of the mod by looking into C:\Program You can see all subscribed mods on CK2 workshop under: Browse Wasn't sure where to put this since I did not see a forum page for the launcher itself. I have been trying to get Warhammer 2 mods to download for a few days 2 since no other folders ever appeared in it after subscribing. So if your mods are not installing, just launch the game and let it sit at the the text indicating that it is working on your steam subscribed mods. Other mods work fine. I do not see the mods in the hidden folder !Workshop, but they were downloading in the Steam client. 23 Apr 2015 After subscribing to Workshop items in Steam, the items appear in-game under switch for the items and I am fairly certain that they have not been downloaded.
